APS shines at Inter APS Cluster-1 Badminton Tournament

JAMMU, July 25: Army Public School Kaluchak organized Inter APS Cluster-1 Badminton Tournament for the session 2023-24on 20 July 2023.Eight schools, namely APS Jammu Cantt, APS Ratnuchak, APS Sunjwan, APS BD Bari, APS Miran Sahib, APS Samba, APS Damana and APS Kaluchakparticipated in the same. The four days Tournamentculminated on 24 July 2023.
The Competition witnessed dominant performances as well as very close and nail biting finishes.It was nip and tuck between the teams of APS Jammu Canttand APS Kaluchak who had qualified for the finals.
Proving the saying of Edward Moore right that when you are blessed with great influences , you need to spread them, APS Kaluchakclinched the winner's trophy who were really swift with their forehand drives where their opponents struggled to keep pace with them.
The purpose of this competition was to bring the youth together under one roof, celebrate sports and develop healthy competition amongst youngsters.
The winners were felicitated . The efforts of the players were appreciated and the winners were accoladed by Col. AbhinavKhare Vice Chairman Army Public School Kaluchak. He lauded the body control, tactical knowledge, risk assessment, endurance, agility,coordination and spatial awareness of the participants.
Namrata,Principal APS Kaluchakencouraged the students and reiterated that sports events are meant to showcase the collective talent of the youth rather than only recognizing winners. She further enthused the players by saying that one cant let the highs make one feel over confident nor can one let the loss be a reason to dampen ones spirit.
