EPFO launches Nidhi Aapke Nikat 2.0 awareness campaign

JAMMU, July 25: Nidhi Aapke Nikat 2.0, an awareness and outreach program organized by EPFO Jammu & Kashmir and Ladakh, will be held simultaneously at four venues across J&K and Ladakh on 27th July 2023. The program aims to sensitize employers and employees about the provisions of social security and educate them on various aspects related to EPFO.
The venues for the program are Dogra Law College, Jammu; KRCL, Reasi; District Industries Centre, Anantnag; and Druk Auto Zone, Airport Road, Leh. The program will cover topics such as Filing Grievance & Fraud Prevention, Digital Services (UMANG, Digi Locker, etc.), awareness and fraud prevention, and rights of employees in respect of employers.
Rizwan Uddin, P F Commissioner-I, will preside over the program, and District Nodal Officers will address the gatherings in their respective districts. The event in Jammu is being organized in association with PHD Chamber of Commerce and Industries, Jammu, with Rahul Sahai and Samar Charak from PHDCCI being present.
The program aims to facilitate compliance under various provisions of the EPF & M P Act, 1952, and provide handholding support to the stakeholders. It will also address issues and problems faced by organizations in implementing the EPF & MP Act. Topics like enrollment of members, UAN activation, online claim filing, e-nominations, and other relevant issues related to EPFO will be discussed during the program. The initiative seeks broad-based participation, awareness, grievance redressal, and an information exchange network closer to the stakeholders of EPFO.
