| DC Reasi reviews progress on NABARD funded projects | | |  Early Times Report
REASI, July 25: District Development Commissioner Reasi, Babila Rakwal today took a detailed review of the ongoing NABARD funded projects here at a meeting of concerned departments.
The meeting was informed that 70 NABARD funded projects are under implementation in the district Reasi, two projects in JJM Division Dharmari and 68 projects are being executed by PWD (R&B).
The PWD functionaries briefed the meeting about the current status of different NABARD projects. The XEn PWD Reasi informed that six projects have been completed and the work on rest is nearing completion.
Similarly, XEn PWD Division Katra informed that three projects out of eight are complete in all respects, while the XEn PWD sub division Mahore informed that two projects have been completed, five projects are halted due to court cases and rest are in full swing.
As reported by XEn Jal Shakti Dharmari, of the two NABARD projects several components like collection tanks and 5000 GLNGSR stand completed and 64% work has been completed on the rest of the works.
The DDC, while reviewing the physical and financial progress of the taken up works, laid thrust on the executing agencies to complete the projects within the stipulated time.
Chief Planning Officer Sunita Kanchan, XEn PWD Reasi, Xen PWD Katra, Xen PWD Mahore and XEn Irrigation Dharmari were present in the meeting. |
