| Jammu police seizes 04 vehicles involved in illegal mining” | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, July 28: In a decisive move against illegal mining, Jammu Police executed a well-coordinated strategy resulting in the seizure of 04 vehicles engaged in the illegal activity. The operation involved police teams from PP Sainik Colony, PP Phallain Mandal, and PP Talab Tillo, acting promptly on specific inputs.
Details of the seized vehicles are as follows:
1. Two tippers bearing Registration No JK21F 1399 and JK21H 4799, seized by PP Sainik Colony
2. One tractor trolley bearing chassis no MBNBG55AEMCL27641, seized by PP Phallain Mandal
3. One tipper bearing Registration JK02BX 9021, seized by PP Talab Tillo
The successful recoveries were made by Inspector-in-Charge (I/C) of PP Sainik Colony, PSI Bhawani Singh; I/C PP Phallain Mandal, PSI Ajesh Singh Jamwal; and I/C PP Talab Tillo, PSI Sonu Choudhary, within their respective jurisdictions.
The mining activities were found to be in direct violation of the orders of the Hon’ble High Court of Jammu & Kashmir. Jammu Police remains committed to strictly enforcing the drive against illegal mining and taking stringent action against those who flout the law. The District Magistrate’s Office (DMO) Jammu has also been duly informed about the developments.
