Jammu, July 28: Thirty three candidates, who were selected as Assistant Compilers, and 120 MTS selectees have been awaiting their appointment orders for the past 10-months. Selected candidates while talking to Early Times said, “Our hopes were high when we were selected for the prestigious positions. However, our aspirations were soon dampened as we discovered hassles impeding our appointments. Numerous visits to the Civil Secretariat yielded no results. The delay in issuing the appointment orders has left us exasperated.” They said, “Our earnest appeal to the authorities is to take a note of our dilemma and urgently address this issue. We have invested our time, effort, and resources in the selection process. We hope the top officials will take cognizance of the matter and direct the concerned to handover the appointment letters to us without any further delay.” An observer said, “In the spirit of good governance and accountability, it is imperative that the administration takes immediate action to resolve this issue. Transparency in the recruitment process and timely communication with candidates are crucial aspects. The selectees, who are anxiously waiting for their appointment orders, deserve clarity and a swift resolution to this ordeal.” |
