DDC listens to public concerns at Manjakote's Block Diwas, ensures timely action | | | Early Times Report RAJOURI, Aug 2: The District Development Commissioner (DDC) Rajouri, Vikas Kundal, conducted a public outreach camp at Manjakote under the weekly Block Diwas program. The event provided a platform for members of the public and their representatives to raise various local issues and concerns related to power and water supply, healthcare facilities, roads, education, and other areas of public welfare. During the event, specific issues were raised regarding the inclusion of leftover beneficiaries under PMAY-G, shortage of staff in schools, payment under SBM, road connectivity improvement, speedy implementation of JJM schemes, completion of work on the road from Dhar to Kesar Gali and sanctioning of a trauma center. The issue of GDC Manjakote was also raised, and the DDC assured the public that he would take up the matter with the concerned authorities to ensure timely action. The DDC listened patiently to the concerns raised by the community and assured them that their genuine demands would be addressed within a specific timeframe. He emphasized the District Administration's unwavering commitment to development and its efforts to provide government services at the doorstep of the general public. The DDC also urged PRIs to play a crucial role in the development of their areas by ensuring that all developmental works are completed within the set time frame while adhering to quality parameters. Furthermore, the DDC exhorted officers to take immediate measures to mitigate the problems raised during the public outreach program. He assured the public that all households in the block would be provided with functional tapped water connections. The DDC also informed the public that work on border bunkers was in full swing, emphasizing the district administration's commitment to ensuring the safety and security of the border residents. He also said that the proper development of border areas is the priority of the Government and all possible measures are being taken in this regard. The DDC also highlighted the importance of the participation of youth in the development process and encouraged them to come forward and avail themselves of the various schemes and programs launched by the government for their welfare. He emphasized the need to provide them with opportunities to earn a livelihood with dignity and contribute to the development of their communities. The event was attended by the BDC Manjakote, Shamshad Begum; CPO, Mohammad Khurshid, ACD, Vijay Kumar; ACP, Sheraz Chowhan; CEO Education, Sultana Kouser, CMO, Dr Rajinder Sharma; and DSWO, Wakeel Ahmed Bhatt, in addition to other district and sectoral officers. |
