| APS Kaluchak shines in Inter-School Sahodya Group Dance Competition | | |  Early Times Report
Jammu, Aug 5: Dance enables one to ricochet from the humdrum of life. Keeping the above pivotal fact in mind, Army Public School Jammu Cantt organized “Expressions” Interschool Group Dance Competition under the banner of Jammu Sahodya School Complex. A total of 32 schools participated in the same with unprecedented enthusiasm and zeal.
The endeavour was to create a platform for classical art forms so that the students could showcase their creativity, talent and appreciate the performance of others.
The dance performances were judged on the basis of choice of music, originality, performance quality, choreography and synchronization.
Army Public School Kaluchak added another feather to its already decorated cap by winning second prize and leaving everybody spell bound by means of its spectacular Kathak dance performance. Students enthralled the audience with their expressions, different poses, foot work and movements.
The judges of the event lauded the power packed performances which mesmerised the audience and advocated bringing out the best in the students by dint of organising such competitions.
It has been possible only under the able guidance of Ms Namarta Thakur honourable Principal APS Kaluchak and the result of assiduous efforts put forth by the dance department that APS Kaluchak stands tall with sustained and significant contributions towards co- curricular activities along with it’s outstanding academics. |
