The event, organized by Dr. Mosmi Raina, Assistant Professor of the Department of Environmental Sciences, aimed to encourage critical thinking and reflection among young minds on India’s post-independence journey.
The competition witnessed an overwhelming response from about 25 students of the college, who showcased their creativity and insight while delving into various aspects of challenges and opportunities that shaped India’s post-independence era.
Priya Devi, Sunaina Sharma, and Taniya Mehra emerged as the top winners, securing the first, second, and third positions, respectively. Their essays highlighted the nation’s growth, recognizing the struggles faced by the country and envisioning a brighter and more prosperous future.
The esteemed panel of judges, comprising Dr. Pavanjeet Bali, Prof. Nisha Bhagat, and Prof. Parwinder Kaur, evaluated the participants’ works and appreciated their exceptional contributions.
