Retired DGP & MD J&K Agro interact with Amaranth Yatries | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Aug 7: Retired DGP/Chief Vigilance Commissioner J&K Kuldeep Khoda (IAS) and Arun Manhas (KAS), MD J&K Agro Industrial Corporation, had an interactive session with the brand ambassadors (Amaranth Yatries) of Jammu and Kashmir. During the meeting, they listened to the Yatries' experiences about the Shri Amaranth Yatra and appreciated the dedication of the police personnel deputed at the Railway Station for their commendable round-the-clock duties. Later, the dignitaries visited the langar run by Shri Amarnath Ji Welfare Society, which had been recently shifted from Saraswati Dham to TRC Railway Station. The office bearers of the Langar committee honored both Sh. Kuldeep Khoda and Sh. Arun Manhas and presented them with a photograph of the naturally formed Ice Ling of Baba Amarnath Ji. The president of the Society, Sh. Kiran Watal Ji, expressed his gratitude and provided a brief overview of the society's activities. Anil Gupta, Sr. Vice President of SAYWS, stated that the society's focus is on providing neat, hygienic, pure Dogra food, and drinking water bottles to the Yatries. He also highlighted the special importance given by the respected Prime Minister, Sh. Narendra Modi Ji, to beautifying Jammu railway station. He appreciated the administration and police for their round-the-clock services to the Yatries and urged the pilgrims to follow the guidelines issued by the administration. Prominent attendees at the event included SAWYS Senior Vice President Anil F. Gupta, Prem Sharma, General Secretary, Kamal Ganjoo, Ashok Sharma Ji, and others. The event served as a platform for meaningful interactions between the dignitaries and the Yatries, fostering a sense of community and appreciation for the efforts made to facilitate a smooth and safe Shri Amaranth Yatra experience. |
