| IGNOU launches new specialized certificate and diploma programs for July 2023 | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
JAMMU, Aug 7: Admission Session Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) has announced the introduction of two innovative programs for the ongoing July 2023 admission session. The first is a six-month Certificate Program in Early Childhood Special Education Enabling Inclusion–Visual Impairment (CESEIVI), and the second is a one-year Diploma Program in Apparel Merchandising-Applied (DAPMERA). These programs have been meticulously designed to cater to the ever-changing developments in the respective fields and ensure enhanced employability prospects for learners.
The CESEIVI program aims to equip learners with specialized skills in Early Childhood Special Education, focusing on visual impairment. Participants will gain hands-on experience, fostering a deep understanding of inclusive practices to empower children with visual challenges.
The DAPMERA program, on the other hand, provides learners with comprehensive knowledge in apparel merchandising, considering market demands and sensitivity. This diploma program equips individuals with practical expertise and opens opportunities in the dynamic apparel industry.
Both programs will be offered through the Open and Distance Learning (ODL) mode, allowing flexible learning for a wider audience.
