| 06 vehicles involved in illegal mining seized by Jammu Police | | |

Jammu, Aug 7: In a quest to stern the menace of illegal mining, a multi-pronged strategy was devised by Jammu Police in which police teams of PS Miran Sahib, PS Janipur, PS AKhnoor and PS Khour acted stringently on the specific inputs and raided at a location in their respective area and seized 06 vehicles involved in illegal mining. Details of the vehicle seized are as under:
One tipper bearing registration number JK02CD 7752, by PS Miran Sahib. One tipper bearing no JK02 BD 6131, by PS Janipur. 03 vehicles i.e one Tipper bearing registration no JK02AM 5727, one JCB bearing chasis no BM1101910758 and one Tractor trolley without Registration No, by PS Akhnoor
One tractor trolley without Registration No by PS Khour
The recoveries were made by SHO PS Miran Sahib Inspr Bopinder Singh, SHO PS Janipur Inspr Sikander Singh, SHO PS Akhnoor Inspr Zaheer Mushtaq and SHO PS Khour Inspr Rahul Mahajan in their respective jurisdictions.
DMO Jammu was also intimated about the same.
The mining was done in violation of order of Hon’ble High Court of J&K. In order to strictly implement the drive against illegal mining and to tighten noose against the violators of the law Jammu Police has initiated strict action. |
