Katra, Aug 8: The International Film Festival held in Katra and Jammu from August 5-6, 2023, witnessed the triumph of Pitchventure Production House, an establishment by a young entrepreneur from Jammu, at Noida, UP. The film festival celebrated exceptional talent in the realm of cinema, and Pitchventure emerged as a standout, clinching several prestigious awards. Among the accolades received, the highlight was the “Best Dogri Short Film” award presented to their production titled “ROSHNI”. This poignant short film narrates the inspiring tale of a young girl’s struggles in the remote village of Basoli. Shivika Singh from Jammu portrayed the lead role, with direction led by Brig Birender Singh Jamwal (Retd). Additionally, Shambhavi Jamwal, a dynamic entrepreneur, writer, producer, and singer associated with Pitchventure, was awarded the “Best Dogri Singer” for her outstanding music album “Meri Lado Di Mehandi,” a collaboration with Rinku Mansarwal. The accolades didn’t stop there, as Pitchventure also secured the “Best Voice Over” for their documentary on the Atal Tunnel and the “Best Director of Photography” for the renowned Dogri album “Tallu.” Despite being headquartered in Noida, UP, Pitchventure Production House remains deeply rooted in promoting the talent from Jammu while also fostering the preservation of Dogri language and culture. The awards garnered at the International Film Festival serve as a testament to their commitment to excellence and their mission to uplift regional art and storytelling. |
