Rajni Bala kick-starts development work in Ward No 60 | Says only Congress can fulfill aspirations of J&K people | | Early Times Report
JAMMU, Aug 10: Rajni Bala, Councillor Ward No 60 today kick-started development work of a bathroom at Paloura Pond for Mohalla Buta Nagar and Dhok Paloura falling in the Jammu North Assembly Segment in presence of prominent citizens of the area. The aforesaid development work will be completed with an estimated cost of Rs 39 lakh which also includes Improvement to existing bathroom near Padha Biradari Temple for Mohallah Corporator, Mohallah Paroch, Mohallah Panchyat Ghar and Sandh and balance work for bathroom near Guru Ravi Dass ji Temple. On the occasion, Dev Raj, Uttam Chand, Surinder Dalotra, Tirth Ram, Vipan Dhar and Kaku Mistri were present. Speaking on the occasion, Rajni Bala said it was a long pending demand of the people of the area which was fulfilled today. She said that being the people’s representative it is her bounden duty to ensure that projects facilitating the life of the people of the Ward are executed whenever needed. The Councillor assured the people that she would leave no stone unturned in transforming Ward No: 60, making it a model ward. She assured that every possible initiative which could help in making their lives comfortable will be taken up on priority so that the basic demands of the public could be met. Rajni Bala also asked the executing agency to complete the same work on a fast track basis so that the people may not face any inconvenience. She also laid stress upon the officials to maintain quality of work in the area. Later, the Councillor interacted with people of the area and listened to their issues which included irregular water supply and poor condition of lanes and drains in their area. She gave a patient hearing to their grievances and assured to get all these addressed by approaching the concerned authorities at the earliest. Rajni Bala asserted that Congress, being a more than 70 years old party, has committed to address people’s issues on priority especially those pertaining to basic amenities. She asserted that Congress is the only solution to get rid of the miseries surmounting them. He appealed to the people of Jammu North Assembly segment to support Congress in the upcoming polls for equitable development of the state. |
