NEW DELHI, Aug 20:The significant contribution of the Vaishya community in the development of India was praised by senior BJP leader and former Deputy Chief Minister, Kavinder Gupta, during the International Vaish Maha Sammelan held in New Delhi. Union Minister Piyush Goyal and Kavinder Gupta were the Guests of Honour at the event.
Addressing the gathering, Kavinder Gupta emphasized that the Vaishya community's role in steering India towards new heights of peace and prosperity cannot be underestimated. He noted that while Mahatma Gandhi secured the country's freedom, Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Home Minister Amit Shah have taken India to a new level of development, progress, and harmony by focusing extensively on various fields.
Kavinder highlighted that both Prime Minister Modi and Home Minister Shah belong to the Vaishya Samaj, and their remarkable performance is a testament to the exceptional leadership of the community. He specifically commended the audacious steps taken by these leaders in Jammu and Kashmir, such as the abrogation of Article 370 and the reorganization of the state into Union Territories of Jammu and Kashmir and Ladakh. These steps, according to Kavinder, have led to unprecedented development in both regions and liberated them from years of dynastic politics.
Kavinder underlined that under the guidance of Prime Minister Modi, India is experiencing unparalleled development. He proudly announced that India is on track to become the world's third-largest economy by 2027. He emphasized that the Vaishya community has a pivotal role in India's elevation to new heights and urged its members to extend their full support to Prime Minister Modi's vision.
Concluding his speech, Kavinder expressed his unwavering confidence in the leadership of Prime Minister Modi and Home Minister Amit Shah, assuring the audience that the country is in safe hands. The event celebrated the significant contributions of the Vaishya community to India's growth and development.
