Kavinder urges political parties to celebrate, not politicize, Chandrayaan-3's success

Early Times Report
JAMMU, Aug 24: In a fervent appeal, senior BJP leader and former deputy chief minister, Kavinder Gupta, has criticized certain political parties for their attempts to politicize the success of Mission Chandrayaan-3. Gupta asserted that such actions are a disservice to the nation and detract from the achievement.
Taking particular aim at Congress leader Tariq Hamid Karra, who claimed that the BJP was attempting to claim credit for the achievement of the scientific fraternity, Gupta expressed disappointment over the politicization of what should be a moment of national pride.
Gupta emphasized that this success should be a matter of celebration for the entire country, rather than being tainted by narrow-minded political maneuvering. He recalled an incident during Chandrayaan-2, where Prime Minister Narendra Modi had taken full responsibility for setbacks, highlighting the contrasting approach of the BJP leadership.
Gupta pointed out that PM Modi had credited not just the scientists but the entire population, including farmers and peasants, for contributing to Chandrayaan-3's success through their prayers and blessings. He called for a united celebration of this achievement and urged opposition parties to refrain from spreading negativity through baseless claims.
As the nation stands on the brink of upcoming elections, Gupta encouraged his party cadre to focus on the forthcoming Voter Chetna Abhiyan. He stressed the need to educate people about the country's best interests and asserted that only the BJP can lead India towards a brighter future. Gupta's impassioned plea underscores the importance of unity in celebrating remarkable national achievements and rises above political divides that often undermine the nation's accomplishments.
