DODA, Aug 25: The designated Committee headed by Additional Deputy Commissioner (ADC) Doda, Dr. Ravi Kumar Bharti today finalized the procedure for mapping of locations for monitoring by the Static Surveillance Teams (SST) during the elections. Notably, the meeting witnessed attendance both in-person and virtually, connecting with Tehsildars and Block Development Officers (BDOs) from different parts of the district. The meeting also clarified the roles of the officers in the election process, designating Tehsildars as AEROs at the Tehsil level, BDOs at the Panchayat level, and Executive Officers at the Municipal level.
The primary objective of the Committee, chaired by Ravi Kumar Bharti, is to create detailed location maps encompassing the SST locations, road maps within different zones, sector locations, sector routes, and administrative boundaries of the constituencies. The meeting held interactions with the officers and officials about the constitution of committees tasked with shaping the maps in specific areas.
The ADC emphasised the importance of mapping the SST location, discussed minor and major road routes, and the configuration of administrative units.
Key attendees included the Deputy District Election Officer, Additional SP Headquarters Doda, Tehsildars, Executive Engineers from PWD and R&B as well as PMGSY, BDOs, SHO Doda, and the Executive Officer Doda, ENT election DODA and other concerned officials. This collaborative effort aims to ensure efficient election preparations and logistics in the Doda district. |
