JAMMU, Sept 2: Vedyansh Rana, a talented student from Delhi Public School (DPS) Jammu, has added another feather to her cap by securing a gold medal in the 26th Jammu District Taekwondo Championship. The event was organized by the District Jammu Taekwondo Association and took place from August 28th to 29th, 2023, at Parade, Jammu. Vedyansh competed in the U-10 age category and the 32 kg weight category.
This remarkable achievement follows Vedyansh's earlier success, where she showcased her exceptional sporting skills by winning a silver medal in the Sub-Junior category during the 12th Inter-School J&K Taekwondo Championship 2023. This championship was organized by the J&K Taekwondo Association and held at Parade, Jammu, from May 13th to 14th, 2023.
The esteemed management of DPS Jammu, including President-RCT, M.K Ajatshatru Singh; PVC-Dr. Kuwarani Ritu Singh; Director S.S Sodhi, along with Principal, Ruchi Chabra, extended their heartfelt congratulations to Vedyansh and her parents for this outstanding achievement. They also conveyed their best wishes for her future endeavors.
