BHADERWAH, Sept 2: District Doda, especially Bhaderwah, is bestowed with captivating natural beauty, panoramic vistas, a variety of beautiful landscapes, meadows, deodar and kail forests and River Neeru.
Recent years have seen heavy footfall of tourists from across the globe in the Bhaderwah region. District Administration Doda, under the leadership of Vishesh Mahajan (DC), has also left no stone unturned in bringing the District on the world tourism map.
Only this year, the heavy rush of visitors during mega events, like Guldanda Winter festival, Asikini Bhaderkashi Utsav, International Yoga Celebrations at Jae Valley, New Year festival at Gatha Park, Youthon 2023 and other like events have proved that the region, due to its rich geographical and cultural beauty, can become the choicest place for the tourists from across the world.
To cater to the needs of tourists visiting the area, world-class infrastructure is being developed in the district. New hotels, restaurants, better roads, good transport facilities, and professionally sound manpower are making the way for a new era of tourism in the district.
Yesterday, Bhaderwah witnessed a historic moment as Ambience Group of Hotels started construction work of its first 5-star property in the picturesque region. The Grand Foundation stone laying event was graced by SSP, Abdul Qayoom, ADC Bhaderwah Ch. Dil Mir, Chairman of the Municipal Committee Bhaderwah and others.
Nestled in the heart of Bhaderwah, Ambience Group of Hotels shall bring a touch of luxury and sophistication to this enchanting destination.
The high-end tourism infrastructure shall mark the beginning of a new era in the hospitality industry of Bhaderwah and is expected to give a major boost to the local economy.
The foundation laying ceremony was virtually attended by DC Vishesh Mahajan also, who praised the initiative, saying, “This property will undoubtedly boost tourism in Bhaderwah and create numerous opportunities for the local community. It reflects the growth and development that Bhaderwah is experiencing. This establishment will not only cater to the needs of tourists but also contribute significantly to the economic growth of Bhaderwah.”
