DDC Jammu sets deadline for clearance of pendency under ISSS

JAMMU, Sept 2: District Development Commissioner, Sachin Kumar Vaishya today set the deadline for the completion of deficient documents during the re-verification process of pending ISSS pension cases.
The DDC called for making swift efforts to help register left-out beneficiaries and directed to host special tehsil-wise camps to clear the pendency and to assist left-out beneficiaries with their application procedures. He was chairing a meeting here in the DC office.
The Chief Medical Officer was tasked with conducting additional Medical Board sessions to identify beneficiaries and address the issues related to UDID for the disabled and the old age certificates.
The District Social Welfare Officer was directed to share tehsil-wise data with the SDMs and Tehsildars for clearing deficiency and expediting the services like Domicile Certificate, besides facilitating the Aadhar seeding, submission of consent forms, identification of priority households etc with active involvement of LDM Jammu, AD (FCS&CA) concerned and Community Service Centres. Services of Aadhar Seva Kendras set up at block levels shall be available under the supervision of Tehsildar concerned, it was noted.
The meeting was attended by Additional Deputy Commissioner (L&O), Harvinder Singh; ADC (ADM), Sandeep Seointra and District Social Welfare Officer, Mamta Rajput. Sub Division Magistrates, Tehsildars, Chief Medical Officers besides others participated through video conference mode.
Meanwhile, the Deputy Commissioner chaired another meeting to discuss the expansion of Jammu Airport. Officers from the Airports Authority of India, Animal Husbandry Department and Revenue Department were in attendance.
The DC emphasised that the project is a priority for the government and that coordination between the departments is essential for its success.
The meeting, which was held at the district headquarters, discussed issues such as land acquisition, the provision of alternative land for animal husbandry activities and other related matters.
Those present at the meeting also included ADC (L&O), Harvinder Singh; Assistant Commissioner Revenue, Piyush Dhotra and SDM Jammu South, Atul Dutt Sharma besides others.
