Sadguru Madhu Paramhans Ji inspires devotees on Janmashtami

Early Times Report
JAMMU, Sept 7: Thousands of devotees gathered at Ranjdi to celebrate Janmashtami, where Sadguru of Sahib Bandgi, Shri Madhuparamhans Ji Maharaj, delivered a profound spiritual discourse. He emphasized the impermanence and impurity of the physical body, contrasting it with the divine wisdom of the Guru, which he described as a source of nectar. He urged the assembled followers to consider themselves fortunate to have received a human body, despite its inherent limitations.
Sadguru Ji remarked on the inherent flaws and disorders within the human body, describing it as a vessel filled with vices from head to toe. He further shared insights into the nature of the soul, stating that the soul remains detached from worldly objects. He cautioned against the misconception that even great spiritual seekers like Gana, Gandharva, Rishi, Muni, and Deities are still serving the forces of time and destiny, known as Kaal.
Addressing questions from devotees who sought spiritual knowledge, Sadguru Ji explained that spiritual guidance is tailored to each individual's character and receptivity. Just as Ramakrishna Paramhansa imparted knowledge of the soul to Vivekananda, the Guru imparts wisdom according to the disciple's readiness.
Sadguru Ji emphasized the ineffable nature of the soul, likening it to the elusive realm of astronomy. He highlighted that even though many accept scientific theories without personal verification, the soul's existence is a matter of faith and direct spiritual experience.
Drawing parallels from Vashishtha and Lord Rama's discussion on self-knowledge, Sadguru Ji underscored the importance of pramana (proof) in establishing spiritual truths. He used the example of the air element, explaining that though it cannot be seen, its effects can be observed through logic and experience.
In closing, Sadguru Shri Madhuparamhans Ji Maharaj affirmed the existence of an immortal world, as certified by saints and sages who have experienced it. He encouraged devotees to pursue spiritual growth, relying on the wisdom and guidance of their Guru on their journey towards that transcendental realm.
The discourse left the audience with profound insights into the nature of the self and the spiritual path, reaffirming their commitment to their Guru's teachings.
