Early Times Report JAMMU, Sept 7: Nami Dogri Sanstha (NDS) celebrated the auspicious occasion of Shree Krishhan Janam Ashtmi by releasing the spiritually enriched book "Golden Epoch: The Era Of Knowledge." This insightful work was authored by the talented and dedicated Police Officer, Vikramjeet Singh. The book, comprised of nineteen chapters exploring various dimensions of spiritualism, delves deep into the intricacies of our lives and life affairs. It serves as a comprehensive guide to spiritual wisdom and its relevance in today's world. The event was graced by esteemed dignitaries, with Padamshri Mohan Singh, a Sahitya Academy awardee in Dogri, presiding over the function. Shaliender Singh, SSP Crime and a renowned writer honored with the Sahitya Academy award, graced the occasion as the Chief Guest. Prof (Dr) Rakesh Kumar Kaul, Principal of Govt Degree College Marh, was the Guest of Honour, and Prof. Savita Jamwal and Raj Rishi Sharma, a celebrated writer with around two dozen books primarily focused on motivation, were special guests. The dias was adorned by Vikramjit Singh, the author of the book, Advocate Dogra Harish Kaila, President of Nami Dogri Sanstha, and Prof. Anupama Sharma, Patron of NDS. Yash Pal Yash, General Secretary of NDS, conducted the program with grace and enthusiasm. The guests were welcomed with floral bouquets by members of NDS. The highlight of the event was the unveiling of "Golden Epoch: The Era Of Knowledge" by a panel of learned individuals. Following this momentous occasion, Vikramjit Singh was honored with the prestigious "Sahitya Shree" award, a recognition instituted by NDS. Capt Lalit Sharma IFS, APCCF (Retd), Convener of NDS, presented a detailed paper in Dogri on the released book, which received appreciation from the attentive audience. Sharma emphasized that spiritualism enables individuals to tap into their full potential, connect with their inner selves, and live harmoniously with all of creation, brimming with love from within. Vikramjit Singh, sharing his experiences, revealed that he was introduced to spiritualism at a young age by his family Guru, Brahmleen Dr. Kewal Krishan ji Maharaj. Under his guidance, he undertook various abhiyasas (spiritual practices) and learned the fundamentals of spiritualism. Through his book, Vikramjit Singh aims to spread the message of spiritualism and self-realization for a stronger and more vibrant society. Padamshri Mohan Singh stressed that spiritual teachings are an ongoing journey toward righteousness. He cautioned against self-proclaimed spiritual saints who seek to profit under the guise of divinity. He congratulated Vikramjit Singh's parents for instilling noble qualities in their child and expressed a desire for the book to be translated into Dogri. Ashok Gupta, former Chief Editor of the Academy of Art, Culture, and Languages, volunteered to take up the task of Dogri translation, with the author's assistance. Shaliender Singh provided a critical appreciation of the book, highlighting the importance of spiritualism as a way of life to strengthen the social fabric. Dr. Rakesh Kumar Kaul, recalling his association with the virtuous author, emphasized that spirituality should become the strength of individuals, society, and the nation, bringing joy, happiness, and social enrichment. |
