Samba police crack three theft cases, arrest notorious thieves

SAMBA, Sept 7: In a commendable effort led by Senior Superintendent of Police Samba, Benam Tosh, the Samba Police have successfully cracked three theft cases, apprehended three notorious thieves, and recovered stolen property worth lakhs of rupees.
The arrested individuals have been identified as follows:
Rohan Kumar alias Gourab, son of Bobi Kumar, resident of Teli Basti, tehsil Bari Brahmana, district Samba.
Shiv Dayal alias Sunny, son of Rajinder Kumar, resident of Teli Basti, tehsil Bari Brahmana, district Samba.
Sanjeev Kumar alias Sanju alias Sandeep, son of Salwinder Massi, resident of Kothey Vijaypur, tehsil Vijaypur, district Samba.
The successful resolution of these cases has led to the recovery of stolen property worth lakhs of rupees. The theft cases were registered at Police Station Samba and Police Station Vijaypur.
The arrested individuals are notorious thieves with a history of involvement in several thefts within the jurisdiction of Police Station Samba, Vijaypur, and Bari Brahmana.
Among the recovered items are an Alto car valued at approximately Rs. 1,50,000.00 and a motorcycle valued at approximately Rs. 80,000.00. Interrogations of the accused are currently underway, and further arrests and recoveries are anticipated.
The diligent efforts of Samba Police have resulted in the arrest of 119 thieves and the resolution of 62 theft cases in the span of eight months. The police remain committed to solving all theft cases in the district.
This accomplishment reflects the dedication and hard work of the police force in maintaining law and order in the region under the leadership of Senior Superintendent of Police Samba, Benam Tosh.
