Senior BJP leader Kavinder Gupta condemns attempts to weaken Sanatan Dharma | | | Early Times Report JAMMU, Sept 7: Kavinder Gupta, a senior BJP leader and former Deputy Chief Minister, has strongly condemned efforts by certain entities to demean Sanatan Dharma (the ancient Hindu religion) through a deliberate agenda and propaganda. Speaking to the media during an impressive Shobha Yatra (a religious procession) held to mark the Hindu festival of Shri Krishna Janmashtami, Kavinder Gupta expressed his concerns about elements across the country raising voices against Sanatan Dharma. He believes that these efforts are part of a well-organized controversy aimed at weakening Hindu society. Kavinder Gupta emphasized that the dream of anti-Hindu forces will never become a reality because Sanatan Dharma has a strong spiritual and social foundation that cannot be undermined under any circumstances. He urged people not to be swayed by forces attempting to harm the interests of Hindu society. According to him, Sanatan Dharma is robust and resilient, and such conspiracies will have no impact on the enduring foundation of the world's oldest religion. Responding to a question from the media regarding the Congress party's stance on the proposal to rename India as Bharat, Kavinder Gupta compared the Congress's position to that of China. He stated that it is not surprising to see the Congress and China sharing similar views on this issue. He believes that the Congress's response aligns with China's stance, leaving it up to the people of India to decide the path forward. This statement comes in the context of China's call for India to prioritize economic reforms over the name dispute ahead of the G20 Summit, a stance that appears to be echoed by the Congress party. |
