| 15 kgs of poppy straw recovered by PS Bus Stand Jammu, one peddler arrested | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Sept 7: Continuing it’s drive against drug trafficking and substance abuse, Jammu Police achieved major success by recovering 15 kgs of Poppy straw while on patrolling duty rounded up one suspected person in the area under the jurisdiction of PS Bus Stand.
A police team of PS Bus Stand led by SDPO North Sunil Kumar Kesar assisted by SHO PS Bus Stand Inspr Vishal Dogra rounded up one suspected person namely Shinder Kaur W/o Gurdeep Singh R/o Isa Punjab Ferozpur Panje ke uttar Punjab.
In this regard, case FIR No. 51/2023 u/s 8/15/NDPS Act has been registered at PS Bus Stand and accused got arrested. Further investigation of the case is going on.
Jammu police is working intensively to uproot the chains of drug supply in the region and thorough questioning of the accused is going on to know the origin of the drugs supply chain.
