GDC Kathua volunteers shine bright with Jammu University VC commendation certificates

KATHUA, Sept 8: In a proud moment for Government Degree College (GDC) Kathua, Principal Prof Seema Mir, accompanied by senior faculty members, extended heartfelt felicitations to the remarkable volunteers who received Vice Chancellor Commendation Certificates from Jammu University. This year, only eleven volunteers were honored with this prestigious recognition, hailing from various colleges across the Jammu division. Remarkably, six of these exceptional volunteers are associated with the NSS Units of GDC Kathua. The Vice Chancellor Commendation Certificate is a distinguished accolade bestowed upon volunteers for their outstanding contributions to the National Service Scheme (NSS), in addition to their regular academic pursuits. Principal Prof Seema Mir commemorated the occasion by presenting each volunteer with a memento and certificate, symbolizing their remarkable achievements. She expressed her heartfelt congratulations to these exceptional individuals and praised them for bringing honor to the esteemed institution.
Furthermore, Principal Prof Seema Mir extended her gratitude and congratulations to the NSS Program officers, Prof Manmohan Singh, Prof Neha Bandral, and Dr. Suresh Sharma, for their tireless efforts in guiding and mentoring the volunteers to attain such remarkable achievements.
The commendable volunteers who received certificates and elevated the reputation of this prestigious institute are:
Ritika Jasrotia, Monika Devi, Abhishek Singh Sumbaria, Mohit Verma, Imran Ali and Abhi Kumar.
