Teacher allegedly sends lewd message to student, suspended | | | Early Times Report
Srinagar, Sept 8: Chief Education Officer Baramulla on Friday placed a teacher under suspension for allegedly sending lewd messages to his student. According to the details available with Early Times a teacher posted at Higher Secondary School (HSS) Shutloo in Rafiabad Baramulla was suspended on the charges of misconduct. An order issued by the CEO Baramulla stated: “Pending enquiry into the matter, a teacher presently posted at HSS Shutloo, is hereby placed under suspension with immediate effect.” “During the period of suspension, the said official shall remain attached in the office of Principal BHSS Sopore,” the order stated. The department also constituted a committee headed by Additional Deputy Commissioner (ADC) to inquire the matter. “The teacher has allegedly sent messages to the student. The matter is under investigation and it is expected that the report in this regard will be submitted within two-three days,” an official said. |
