| 04 vehicles involved in illegal mining seized by Jammu Police | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Sept 28: In a quest to stern the menace of illegal mining, a multi-pronged strategy was devised by Jammu Police in which police teams of PS Nagrota, PP Rehari and PP Chatha acted stringently on the specific inputs and raided at a location in their respective area and seized 04 vehicles involved in illegal mining. Details of the vehicle seized are as under:
Two Tractor Trollies without Registration Nos, by PS Nagrota.
One Tipper without Registration No, by PP Chatha.
One tipper without Registration No by PP Rehari
The recoveries were made by SHO PS Nagrota Inspr Vishav Partap Singh, I/C PP Rehari PSI Anil Kumar and I/C PP Chatha PSI Harjinder Paul Singh in their respective jurisdiction.
DMO Jammu was also intimated about the same.
The mining was done in violation of order of Hon’ble High Court of J&k. In order to strictly implement the drive against illegal mining and to tighten noose against the violators of the law Jammu Police has initiated strict action. |
