Early Times Report
JAMMU, Oct 1: The Chairman and President of AJBRCEAK (Name of the Association), in their messages, extended warm greetings to the people of Jammu and Kashmir on the occasion of Gandhi Jayanti. They highlighted the significance of this day in promoting values such as amity, peace, selfless service, social equity, and social justice, while also emphasizing the importance of contributing to the nation's progress.
Vipen Kumar, Chairman of the Association, underscored that Gandhi Jayanti serves as a reminder to follow the path of truth and non-violence set by Mahatma Gandhi. He praised Mahatma Gandhi's lifelong dedication to the cause of the downtrodden and his efforts to promote communal harmony and national integration.
Chairman AJBRCEAK also took the opportunity to appeal to the Lt. Governor of Jammu and Kashmir to fulfill the commitment of enacting a Comprehensive Transfer Policy for Jammu-Based Reserved Category Employees. He expressed hope that the LG Administration would soon issue a notification regarding the same. The appeal is particularly aimed at addressing the concerns of employees who have been working away from their home districts/divisions for an extended period and deserve the opportunity to work closer to their homes.
Anil Radhey, President of AJBRCEAK, highlighted the significance of Gandhi's birth anniversary in reminding everyone of the commitment, dedication, and love for the nation. He acknowledged the steps taken by the LG Administration for the welfare of Jammu-based employees and requested the administration to consider relocating Jammu-based employees currently working in districts like Baramulla and Kupwara to safer locations such as district headquarters. This move aims to boost their confidence and provide a safe working environment.
AJBRCEAK also actively participated in Shramdaan Day, an initiative by the Government of India to promote cleanliness. The Chairman emphasized the importance of cleanliness in promoting a healthy life and urged everyone to make cleanliness a principle of life.
