JAMMU, Oct 1: The Flood Control Division (FCD) Jammu conducted a significant cleanliness drive, commencing at 10:00 AM, in and around the Divisional Office premises located at Satwari Cantt as part of the "Swachhata Hi Sewa" (SHS) Shramdaan initiative. The drive saw active participation from more than 40 employees, led by Er. Kumar Jatinder Sharma, Executive Engineer, and Er. Gopal Sharma, Assistant Executive Engineer, who served as the event coordinator. The objective of the cleanliness drive was to ensure that the entire complex and the surrounding areas were thoroughly cleaned. Additionally, efforts were made to clean the nearby Nallah adjoining the army area. The team diligently collected and properly disposed of polythene, plastic bottles, overgrown vegetation, and mulba in accordance with established guidelines.
Er. M.P Singh, Assistant Executive Engineer, Er. Surinder Singh Bhalwal, Assistant Executive Engineer, Neeraj Sethi, Head Assistant, and Surinder Sharma, Head Draftsman, actively participated in the drive, demonstrating their commitment to cleanliness. Junior Engineers and other ministerial staff from various Sub-Divisions also joined in the efforts.
