| 12 vehicles involved in illegal mining seized by Jammu Police | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Oct 1: In a quest to stern the menace of illegal mining, a multi-pronged strategy was devised by Jammu Police in which police teams of PS Nagrota, PS Gharota, PS Akhnoor, PS Miran Sahib, PS Khour, PS Jhajjar Kotli, PP Phallian Mandal, PP Sidhra and PP Belicharana acted stringently on the specific inputs and raided at a location in their respective area and seized 12 vehicles involved in illegal mining. Details of the vehicle seized are as under:
One Tata ace bearing No. JK02DC-8918, by PS Nagrota.
04 Dumpers bearing Registration Nos JKO2CV-4647, JKO2CR-7647, JKO2CN-4883 and JKO2CL-7343, by PS Gharota.
One JCB without Registration No by PS Akhnoor
One Tractor Trolley bearing Registration No. JK02CB-4570, by PS Miran Sahib
One Tractor Trolley bearing Chassis No.MBNGAALUPMRCO4417 by PS Khour
One tipper bearing Registration No Jk19 A0466, by PS Jhajjar Kotli
One Tractor Trolley bearing Registration No. JK02CE-3176, by PP Phallian Mandal.
One tractor trolly bearing Chasis No. WSTA30428150299 by PP Sidhra
One tractor having Chasis No. MBNGAALF by PP Belicharna
The recoveries were made by SHO PS Nagrota Inspr Vishav Partap Singh, SHO PS Gharota Inspr Joginder Singh Chib, PS Jhajjar Kotli Inspr Azad Ahmed, SHO PS Miran Sahib Inspr Bopinder Singh, SHO PS Khour Inspr Rahul Mahajan, I/C PP Phallian Mandal PSI Ajesh Singh Jamwal, I/C PP Sidhra PSI Arun Kumar, I/C PP Belicharna SI Sugreev Kumar and in their respective jurisdiction.
DMO Jammu was also intimated about the same.
The mining was done in violation of order of Hon’ble High Court of J&k. In order to strictly implement the drive against illegal mining and to tighten noose against the violators of the law Jammu Police has initiated strict action. |
