| Pounichak police arrests two peddlers, heroin recovered | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Oct 1: Continuing it’s drive against drug trafficking and substance abuse, Jammu Police achieved major success by recovering 08 grams of heroin from two accused persons in the jurisdiction of PS Domana.
A police team of PS Domana led by SDPO Domana Vishal Shoor assisted by SHO PS Domana Inspr Kunal Singh Jamwal and I/C PP Pounichak PSI Nitish Khajuria while on naka duty at Trilokpur rounded up two suspects. On search, 08 grams of heroin was recovered from them.
In this regard a case FIR U/S 8/21/22 of NDPS Act got registered in PS Domana and accused were arrested. The accused arrested were identified as :-
1. Gagan Singh S/o Paramjit Singh R/o Ajit colony, Camp Gole Gujral, Jammu
2. Saksham Bhushan S/o Kartar R/o Talab Tillo
Further investigation of the case is going on.
Jammu police is working intensively to uproot the chains of drug supply in the region and thorough questioning of the accused is going on to know the origin of the drugs supply chain.
