Cluster University Organizes "Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav" Program

JAMMU, Oct 4: The School of Social Sciences at Cluster University of Jammu organized a three-day program in commemoration of Gandhi Jayanti under the banner of "Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav." The program took place from October 1st to October 4th, 2023, under the patronage of Dr. Vishal Sharma, the Dean of the School of Social Sciences at Cluster University of Jammu.
October 1st: On the occasion of "SWACHHATA HI SEVA-Ek Taarikh Ek Ghanta," students and faculty members participated in a cleanliness drive organized by the Dean of Students Welfare (DSW), CLUJ, as part of the "SWACHH BHARAT ABHIYAAN." The primary objective of this event was to encourage participation and raise awareness among all segments of society about the importance of collective efforts in making towns and cities more livable.
October 3rd: A poster-making competition was organized with the theme "AATMANIRBHAR BHARAT." The winners of the competition (Anjali - 1st place, Bavneet - 2nd place, and Aditi - 3rd place) were felicitated with prizes.
October 4th: The program concluded with a lecture on the theme "AATMANIRBHAR BHARAT," delivered by Dr. Vishal Sharma, Dean of SOSS. During his lecture, Dr. Sharma shared insights on "How to move towards a Self-Reliant Bharat" and discussed innovative ideas. He also provided an overview of the current scenario in various sectors of the economy and informed students about various startup-related schemes offered by the Government of India. Dr. Roshi concluded the program with a formal vote of thanks. Faculty members and students from the School of Social Sciences, CLUJ, actively participated in the program. The activities were coordinated by Dr. Neetu Kumari, Dr. Roshi Charak, Dr. Rajneesh Karloopia, and Dr. Parul Chhibber.
