Early Times Report
KATRA, Oct 5: The Shiv Sena (UBT) unit of Jammu and Kashmir has expressed its satisfaction with the inauguration of the skywalk facility for devotees at the renowned Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Shrine in Katra on the first day of Navratri. In response, the Shiv Sena (UBT) has urged the Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Shrine Board to take further steps to enhance the pilgrim experience.
Manish Sahni, the State President of Shiv Sena, led a delegation of state leaders to meet with Ajay Salan, Deputy CEO of the Shrine Board, to convey their appreciation for the ongoing facilities created by the Shrine Board for devotees. During the meeting, they also presented a memorandum outlining their demands and expectations.
Sahni revealed that Anshul Garg, the Chief Executive Officer of the Shrine Board, has already expressed agreement with all the presented demands.
Furthermore, Sahni announced that the 41st pilgrimage organized by the Shiv Sena would have a mythological theme. Starting from the historic Raghunath Temple in Jammu as a procession on October 14th, this sacred pilgrimage will pass through significant shrines such as Kaol Kandoli and Deva Mai Temple before reaching Katra. On the auspicious day of Navratri, which falls on October 15th, a ceremonial puja will be performed in the holy cave of Mata Vaishno Devi with all the requisite rituals.
Sahni encouraged devotees to actively participate in this pilgrimage, seeking the blessings of Maa Vaishno Devi. He also called upon other organizations and devotees associated with Shiv Sena who share similar interests to join hands in ensuring the success of this significant pilgrimage.
The Shiv Sena's Katra unit extended a warm welcome to Manish Sahni with Maa ki chunri during the event.
The gathering also included notable figures such as General Secretary Vikas Bakshi, Vice President Sanjeev Kohli, President Kamghar Raj Singh, Youth Secretary Rajesh Handa, District Reasi President Ashwani Kumar, Suman Badu, Aryan Pranam, Vipin Sharma, Sanjay Kumar, Vinod Sharma, Ajay Kumar, and Atul Sharma.
