Jammu, Oct 6: Notwithstanding claims of the authorities to take effective action against the drug mafia, the notorious and influential drug lords of the Sarore area of Samba district once again attacked cops of J&K Police and sleuths of the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB).

Four police personnel were injured in this. Police have identified 10 people who attacked the joint team. Some of them are residents of Sarore and some are from other areas. The police have registered a case regard has been registered.
Tension gripped the area after the stone pelting. When additional force was rushed to the spot the accused fled away. Police have detained some people for questioning but the main culprits are reportedly are still absconding.
