Early Times Report JAMMU, Oct 6: Government Degree College Kunjwani hosted a one-day program focused on the "Brashtachar Mukt Campaign." The National Service Scheme (NSS) Unit, in collaboration with the Career Counseling and Placement Cell, organized this event on October 6, 2023, with the aim of promoting an anti-corruption campaign. During the program, the Honorable Mayor of Jammu City, Shri. Rajinder Sharma, addressed the students. In his speech, he stressed the significance of recognizing that small individual efforts can lead to substantial societal change. The primary objective of the campaign was to challenge old-age mindsets and encourage a commitment to righteousness while eradicating the root causes of corruption from society. The college's Principal extended a warm welcome to Honorable Mayor Jammu City, Shri. Rajinder Sharma. Following this, all participants took a pledge to actively work towards fostering a corruption-free society. Dr. Neeru Sharma from the Department of English adeptly moderated the proceedings of the program, ensuring its smooth execution. Professor Bushra Nizami, NSS Programme Officer, and Dr. Arti Pandoh Gupta, Convener of the Career Counseling and Placement Cell, effectively coordinated the program. The event aimed to instill a sense of responsibility and dedication to combat corruption among the college students and contribute to building a more transparent and ethical society. |
