Jammu, Oct 12: Under the patronage of madam Principal, Dr. Sujata Slathia, the NSS Program Officer, Dr. Vani Awasthi organised an Amrit Kalash Yatra in the college. The NSS volunteers under the theme ‘Meri Maati Mera Desh’, poured mitti and rice in the college’s kalash and then took out a yatra to honour the Veers and hard workers of the nation.
The yatra was a success and the volunteers and teachers felt honoured to be a part of this grand event.
The kalash would be handed over to Dr. Sunil Sharma, the Block Development Officer of the area tomorrow. |
