GDC Sunderbani organizes "Amrit Kalash Yatra Rally" | | | Early Times Report SUNDERBANI, Oct 20: The NSS Unit of Government Degree College Sunderbani, in collaboration with the Eco Club of the college, came together to organize the "Amrit Kalash Yatra Rally" within the college premises and the surrounding areas. This event was conducted as part of the "Meri Mati Mera Desh Abhiyan Phase II," under the dedicated supervision of the esteemed Principal, Dr. KK Sharma. The "Meri Mati Mera Desh" program is a national initiative aimed at fostering an emotional connection between every individual, family, and citizen with the concept of building a stronger and more prosperous India. The campaign has entered its second phase, which involves the Amrit Kalash Yatra, taking place nationwide. This pan-India outreach campaign has the noble objective of reaching every household in the country and collecting Mati (soil) and rice grains from Panchayat Villages and Urban Wards. In rural areas, these contributions will be assembled at the Block level to create Block-level Kalash. In this spirit, dedicated NSS volunteers collected soil and rice grains from their own households and deposited them in the Amrit Kalash (elixir pot) located on the college campus. This symbolic act exemplifies the unity and commitment of the college community towards the betterment of our nation.
