| Chairperson DDC takes stock of development works at Panchayat Sui Sambal | | |  Early Times Report
UDHAMPUR, Oct 21: District Development Council Chairperson Udhampur Lal Chand today visited Panchayat Sui Sambal and took stock of development works there.
The Chairperson interacted with the locals and listened demands and other developmental concerns.
The locals putforth their demands which mainly include repair of Ice Factory to Jakhar Road, water supply and other.
The DDC Chairperson listened to the demands patiently and assured that the same would be redressed in a time bound manner.
The Chairperson also inaugurated a hand pump at W. No. 4 Panchayat Sui Sambal in presence of local Sarpanch of the Panchayat, Veena Kumar.
While speaking on the occasion, the Chairperson DDC congratulated the locals for fulfilling their long pending demand for a hand pump.
The DDC Chairperson asked the locals to avail benefits of various flagship welfare schemes and programmes launched by the UT and central government.
The move was appreciated by the PRI members and the general public, who expressed their gratitude to the DDC Chairperson for addressing their genuine concerns. |
