58th IPSC athletics meet concludes with impressive performances

Nabha/Punjab, Oct 21: The 58th All India IPSC (U-19) Athletics Meet for Boys & Girls came to an impressive conclusion at The Punjab Public School, Nabha. The three-day event featured 300 athletes from 17 prestigious public schools from across the country, showcasing exemplary sportsmanship.
In the Boys’ Section, The Doon School, Dehradun, secured the IPSC Athletics Trophy, with The Daly College, Indore, as the runners-up. Meanwhile, in the Girls’ Section, MNSS, Rai, emerged as the winners of the IPSC Athletics Trophy, with The Daly College, Indore, taking the runners-up position.
The award for the Best Athlete (Boys) was presented to PA Nanjappa from The Lawrence School, Ooty, while Pratishtha from MGD, Jaipur, received the Best Athlete (Girls) award.
The March Past Trophy was lifted by Welham Boys’ School, Dehradun, adding to the competitive spirit of the event.
The Closing Ceremony was graced by Brig Vijay Dalal, Station Commander, Nabha, and Mr. Hargobinder Singh Dhaliwal, IPS, Chief of Anti-Terror Units Special Cell, New Delhi, who is also an alumnus of The Punjab Public School, Nabha. Both chief guests commended the successful organization of the event and encouraged the young athletes to pursue their dreams and make a name for themselves.
The event was skillfully conducted, with gratitude expressed to the officials from NSNIS, Patiala, for ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of the events.
The Punjab Public School, Nabha, can take pride in hosting this prestigious athletic event, which provided a platform for young talents from across the country to showcase their sportsmanship and determination.
