Early Times Report JAMMU, Oct 21: A one-day awareness program was conducted at Aryan Public Senior Secondary School in R.S Pura, organized by Civil Defence, Jammu, under the supervision of Dy.SP Anita Pawar, Dy. Controller Civil Defence Jammu. The program focused on imparting basic knowledge of First Aid, CPR, Choking, Firefighting, and addressing drug addiction to the students. Civil Defence experts provided demonstrations on these topics, aiming to educate students on preventive measures during natural or man-made disasters. During the event, a lecture was delivered by the Civil Defence experts, emphasizing the importance of disaster management and First Aid. Neeraj Gupta, the Principal of the Secondary School, commended the role of Civil Defence in spreading awareness about disaster management and First Aid. The event was attended by R. Vijay Magotra, Dy. Chief Warden CD Jammu, Meenakshi Raina, the school's coordinator, Ram Dayal Saini, S.I Incharge Trainings Civil Defence, and other staff from the Senior Secondary School. This initiative is part of the ongoing efforts to equip students with life-saving skills and disaster preparedness knowledge. |
