First Aid Awareness Camp held at Govt Higher Secondary School, Domana | | | Early Times Report JAMMU, Oct 21: An awareness camp on First Aid was organized today at the Govt Higher Secondary School, Domana, under the chairmanship of Mr. Mohinder Sharma, Principal, with the aim of acquainting students with the importance of knowing how to provide first aid to those in need. Madam Mamta Rajput, Executive Secretary of the District Red Cross Society, was the chief guest for the event. In her address to students and staff, she emphasized the critical importance of using first aid in emergency situations, for accident victims, and heart attack patients. She highlighted that the chances of survival for any person increase significantly when they receive immediate first aid. The students expressed their keenness to learn this life-saving technique. The team responsible for first aid training included Dr. Aaditya Shah, Dr. Vasundhra Parihar, Ms. Surbhi Negi, Ajit, and Ajay. The Regional Ayurveda Research Institute, Jammu, also provided support to the team and staff. Principal Mohinder Sharma extended his gratitude to Madam Mamta Rajput for providing first aid training to the students in collaboration with the young doctors' team, who conducted the training with great interest and responded to every query from the students.
