| 21 grams of heroin recovered by PP Narwal Jammu | | |

Jammu, Oct 29: Continuing it’s drive against drug trafficking and substance abuse, Jammu Police achieved major success by recovering 21 grams of heroin from one accused person in the jurisdiction of PP Narwal. A police team of PP Narwal led by SDPO East Parupkar Singh assisted by SHO PS Bahu Fort Inspr Shiv Dev Singh assisted by I/C PP Narwal SI Lalit Sharma while on naka duty near Railway Pulli Narwal rounded up a suspect. On search, 21 grams of heroin was recovered from them.
In this regard a case FIR No. 311/23 U/S 8/21/22 NDPS Act got registered in PS Bahu Fort and accused were arrested. The accused arrested was later identified as Sunil Kumar@Luie S/O Inderjeet Singh R/O Rajiv nagar Jammu.
Further investigation of the case is going on.
Jammu police is working intensively to uproot the chains of drug supply in the region and thorough questioning of the accused is going on to know the origin of the drugs supply chain.
