MVD Samba challaned 151 vehicles, realised fine of Rs 3.93 Lac from violators | | | Early Times Report
SAMBA, Nov 16: Motor vehicles department Samba on Thursday launched a major enforcement drive in district Samba and challaned 151 vehicles and realised a fine of Rs three Lakh ninety three thousand (3.93 lakh) from the traffic violators on the spot. According to the report, ARTO Samba Shammi Kumar along with team launched a major enforcement drive on Jammu Pathankot National Highway near Radha Swami Ashram 17 miles in Samba District. During the Course of checking, the team checked 232 vehicles, out of which the team challaned 151 vehicles found running in various violations of the Motor Vehicles Act and collected a fine of Rs 3.93 lakh from the violators on the spot. ARTO Samba Shammi Kumar Said that, on Thursday morning at around 4 am, the team laid nakka in different locations of Jammu Pathankot national highway in District Samba and launched major enforcement drive and challaned 151 vehicles who were found in various provisions of motor vehicle act and imposed fine with an amount of Rs 3.93 Lac from the violators on the spot. He also said that, the drive shall continue in future and tough action against the traffic violators. |
