UDHAMPUR, Nov 17: The NSS Unit, "Sewak," at Government Degree College Neeli Nallah, organized an awareness rally on 'Nasha Mukt Bharat' on November 17, 2023, under the banner of Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav. The program, held under the guidance of Principal Prof. Hans Raj, aimed to raise awareness among students and the general public about the serious issues and hazardous impacts of drug abuse.
The rally was flagged off from the college premises by Principal Prof. Hans Raj, and students proceeded with slogans through the nearby village Neeli Nallah. A significant number of students actively participated in the rally, raising slogans to spread the message of unity against substance abuse. They also engaged with the local community, raising awareness about the health issues related to drug misuse and the importance of rehabilitation.
Accompanying the rally were faculty members Dr. Swati Dutt, Dr. Radha Rani, Dr. Akhter Hussaian, Dr. Zahoor Ahmad Mir, Dr. Mahima Bhagat, Pradeep Kumar, and Dr. Muntazir (PTI). The initiative reflects the college's commitment to fostering a drug-free and healthy society." |
