Pattan, Nov 17: President of Apni Party, Altaf Bukhari on Friday claimed that National Conference leaders meet Prime Minister and Union Home Minister in dead of the night. Talking to Early Times after addressing a party convention here, Bukhari while replying to a query about NC labeling him as a BJP man, Bukhari said, “I have never met BJP president, neither do I want to meet him. I have met the Prime Minister and the Home Minister and will keep on meeting them to get the issues of my people resolved. I meet them during day time and that too in a broad day light. I don’t meet them in dead of night like NC leaders.”
He advised NC vice-president, Omar Abdullah not to throw stones on the houses of others, as he (Omar) himself lives in a “glass house.”
Replying to another query about, NC asking him (Bukhari) about whether he remembers what happened in 2010, the Apni Party president said, “I remember everything Omar should remember what all happened then.” |
