JAMMU, Nov 17: Govt. MAM College emerged victorious in the Hockey (Men) Inter College tournament organized by the Cluster University of Jammu at Hakku Stadium. The final match took place today, with Dr. Vinod Bakshi, Director Physical Education & Sports, Cluster University of Jammu, and Sh. Ajay Gupta, Manager, K.K. Hakku Hockey Stadium Jammu, gracing the occasion as the Chief Guest and Guest of Honour, respectively.
The tournament, held under the overall supervision of Dr. Vinod Bakshi and the specific supervision of Smt. Neenu Sawhney, Physical Director of Govt. MAM College Jammu, showcased intense competition. In the first match, GGM Science College played against Govt. SPMR College of Commerce, with GGM Science College emerging victorious with a 4-0 score. The second and final match witnessed Govt. MAM College defeating GGM Science College with a score of 3-1. Jyotdeep, Jagmeet Singh, and Jyotdeep scored for Govt. MAM College, while Simranjeet Singh scored for GGM Science College.
Prof. Sanjay Samyal from Govt. MAM College and Aijaz Malik, Physical Director of Govt. SPMR College of Commerce, were among the dignitaries present during the occasion. The matches were officiated by S. Mandeep Singh and S. Jagjeet Singh." |
