Early Times Report RAMGARH, Nov 17: The National Service Scheme (NSS) and IQAC of GDC Ramgarh recently collaborated to organize a Career Counselling Session focused on 'Creating Awareness regarding Agniveer and how to join the Indian Army.' The initiative, conducted under the supervision and guidance of Prof. (Dr.) Geetanjali Andotra, Principal of the College, aimed to provide valuable insights to students about career opportunities in the Indian Army. The awareness program was efficiently coordinated by the career counselling committee, led by Dr. Aditi Khajuria. The event kicked off with a Lecture cum Interactive session, featuring Capt. Bhupinder Kumar from 11 Sikh LI, part of 92 Brigade, Bari Brahmana, as the resource person. Capt. Bhupinder Kumar highlighted the session's objective, focusing on raising awareness about the benefits of joining the Army and the application process. He shed light on the recruitment of Agniveers, the criteria for becoming an Officer in the Army, and provided guidance on preparing for the NDA exam. The interactive session allowed students to express their views, seek advice, and get answers to their queries related to a career in the Indian Army. The event witnessed active participation from a large number of students and staff members of the college, contributing to the success of the informative and engaging session." |
