Early Times Report SAMBA, Nov 17: In the ongoing crackdown against illegal mining directed by SSP Samba Benam Tosh, the police have seized five more vehicles used for illegal mining in the Samba district. Police teams, led by SHO Police Station Vijaypur Sandeep Charak, SHO Police Station Purmandal Vijay Verma, Incharge Police Post Rakh Amb Talli PSI Davinder Singh, and Incharge Police Post Supwal PSI Deepika Jalotra, supervised by DySP Garu Ram, SDPO Vijaypur Rohit Kumar, SDPO Bari Brahmana Rahul Nagar, and Additional SP Samba Surinder Choudhary, successfully seized five vehicles deployed for illegal mining at different locations in Samba district. The seized vehicles include two dumpers with registration numbers JK21G-7597 and JK02CG-7986, one tractor with registration number JK21J-5547, and two tractors without registration numbers. SSP Samba Benam Tosh emphasized that a total of 214 vehicles have been seized in the past ten months in the police's efforts to combat illegal mining. The police are committed to preventing illegal mining in Samba district and will take even more stringent actions against the mining mafia if illegal mining persists." |
