| Girl alleges abduction, rape; Police register FIR, launch manhunt to arrest accused | | |

Jammu, Nov 19: Police have registered a FIR against five accused on the charges of rape, abduction, abetment and criminal intimidation.
According to the details available with Early Times a girl (name withheld) approached Police Post Phallain Mandal and filed a written complaint alleging that four persons abducted her from Sehora Mandal and raped her.
She identified accused as Amit Bhagat S/0 Balbir Chand, Vijay Kumar S/0 Kulwant Raj both residents of Sehora Mandal, Deepak Kumar S/0 Vijay Kumar R/0 Santra Morh Gho, Kalu Ram S/0 Gandharbu and his wife both residents of Sehora Mandal Jammu, officials said.
They said on her complaint a case FIR No. 250/2023 U/S 376/366/109/506/ IPC has been registered at Police Station Satwari and a hunt has been launched to arrest the accused. |
