Udhampur, Nov 26 : In a spirit of solemnity and reflection, Government Degree College (GDC) Neeli Nallah Udhampur marked Constitution Day with a series of meaningful activities aimed at fostering awareness and appreciation for the foundational principles of the Indian Constitution.
The event, held under the esteemed guidance of Prof. Hans Raj, the Principal of the college, included a pledge ceremony and an enlightening lecture on “Contributions of B.R. Ambedkar towards the framing of the Indian Constitution.”
The day commenced with Principal Hans Raj, the dedicated staff, and enthusiastic students offering a heartfelt floral tribute to Dr. B.R. Ambedkar, the chief architect of the Indian Constitution. This symbolic gesture underscored the college’s reverence for the visionary leader’s indelible contributions.
Dr. Akhter Hussain took center stage, delivering an engaging lecture on the profound impact of B.R. Ambedkar on the shaping of the Indian Constitution. Dr. Akhter emphasized the pivotal role of the Constitution in kindling the flame of knowledge within successive generations.
